Ciao! Welcome to my website.
I am Roberto. Data Scientist / ML Engineer / Researcher.
Currently I am an AI researcher at ETHZ, working with Zhijing Jin, Bernhard Schölkopf, and Mrinmaya Sachan. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computer Science from Bocconi University and a Master’s degree in Data Science from EPFL.
I am actively looking for roles in:
- AI startups series A to C.
- VC funds focused on AI.

My research primarily focuses on causality and Large Language Models (LLMs). I’m passionate about the intersection of AI and practical applications, enjoying the process of building prototypes and engaging in startup ventures.

Outside of work, I’m an avid Padel and Tennis fan (go Jannik!). I also love engaging in discussions about modern-day philosophy.
My medium term dream? helping Italy become a major tech leader in Europe.
